Hi Deb, I am sure this is a problem that many teachers face on a regular basis. I am fortunate to work in a district in which most parents are supportive and my students enjoy homework. Yes, they enjoy homework. My students only enjoy homework because they are in kindergarten, and homework makes them feel older and more responsible. You have a very valid point about not trying to fight technology. Making homework more exciting by incorporating things that students are interested in, such as technology, will make a big difference in what comes back to you (or so I think).
